Staff Training

We offer a range of staff training to maximise the positive impact on your pupils’ wellbeing and academic performance. We work alongside our partners at The Emotional Logic Centre to provide this training and have been awarded the DFE’s MATRIX Standard Accreditation for the quality of our information, advice, guidance and support.

Staff Introduction Sessions

Training is key to equipping your staff with the tools necessary to improve relationships and positively impact the children’s mental health and academic performance. Our training also develops staff resilience and empathy and gives your team a lifelong skill that they can use in their personal lives too.

Our introduction sessions are tailor-made to meet the needs of your team and can be delivered in a range of ways to suit you.

Many schools ask us to deliver the training as part of their weekly staff meeting sessions. Others plan the training in as part of an INSET day.

Foundation Award Training

This is our first level of formal training and qualifies you to use our teaching materials to teach Emotional Logic skills to groups of pupils using safe scenarios. It also enables staff to apply their training to themselves and their own families in order to improve communication, deepen relationships and increase personal resilience.

The Foundation Award can be delivered face-to-face or online over half a term and takes approximately 30 hours of study. It is a basic entry requirement for the ELF training.

This course is accredited by the CPD Standards Office for continuous professional development points. On completion you will be awarded 30 CPD points

Emotional Logic Facilitator (ELF) Training

This level of training enables you to become a fully qualified Emotional Logic Facilitator so that you can support children with their real-life, complex emotional problems. You must have completed the Foundation Award first.

The ELF training lasts approximately two terms and takes around 120 hours of study. Trainees can begin working with pupils immediately and operate under the supervision of a qualified coach.

This course is accredited by the CPD Standards Office for continuous professional development points. On completion you will be awarded 120 CPD points

Testimonials

Green Board
The staff training we received was fantastic.  It made all our staff see things from a
different perspective and started us on our Emotional Logic journey.  In over 20 years I
don't think any other training has had quite the same response from staff and I have
many staff requesting further training.
